¶ The crime of assault was alleged in the downtown precinct. The reporting party was a male subject. The subject advised that he was engaging in political speech activity at the intersection of Sixth Street and Grant Avenue. The subject stated that he was advocating the impeachment of President Obama. The subject was approached by a female subject on foot. The female subject was Causasian and in her 70s. The female subject’s hair was white in color. The female subject struck the complainant with a closed fist on the arm and back areas. The female subject exited the vicinity in a Lexus SUV, gold in color. The complainant called the appropriate authorities. Units responded. Units arrived on scene. The complainant reported negative physical injuries. Negative criminal charges were requested by the complainant. The complainant requested that units effect contact with the perpetrator to advise her with regard to her inappropriate actions. The complainant provided the license plate number of the associated motor vehicle. Units responded to the responsible’s place of residence. Efforts to contact the responsible met with negative results. A note was left at the door of the residential structure.
